- Prepare and organize the operating room for various surgical tasks
- Maintain sterile environments and diligently follow infection control standards
- Assist surgeons by efficiently passing instruments and supplies
- Manage surgical equipment pre-, during, and post-procedure
- Keep track of supplies and ensure operational readiness
- Work in concert with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff for superior care delivery
- Ensure precise counts and maintain meticulous documentation
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) accreditation is mandatory
- BLS certification (or readiness to acquire within 90 days of hire)
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and procedures across multiple specialties
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities in demanding situations
- Ability to quickly prioritize and adapt to the evolving needs of the operating room
- Exceptional organizational skills, along with a keen attention to hygiene and detail
- Competence in aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment
