Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress, document findings in Epic, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to emergency situations, including rapid response activations.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Float within scope to support unit needs and cover staffing shortages.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current SC license or valid Compact license in hand prior to assignment.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg or Telemetry nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in Epic electronic charting and telemetry monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
