About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (5 PM - 5 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care ICU hospital experience License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience. Candidates must have ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. Description: This position is for a travel RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. The unit has 16 beds and is staffed by a collaborative team of 60 professionals. There are 1 charge RN and 8 RNs on both the day and night shifts. Patient ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients. Equipment used includes cardiac monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include intubations and central line placements. Candidates with experience in medical ICU and neuro populations are preferred. Prior experience with Meditech is advantageous. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player.
