X-Ray Tech - Hidden Valley Lake, CA

Step into a dynamic healthcare setting as an experienced Radiologic Technologist, specializing in X-ray imaging. In this 13-week contract opportunity, you'll provide critical diagnostic imaging support, utilizing your expertise and comprehensive skill set to enhance patient care and support medical teams.


Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Current and valid BLS certification
• ARRT(R) credential
• California Fluoroscopy License
• Demonstrated experience in mammography
• Strong proficiency in performing a variety of X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray, mammography, and fluoroscopy equipment according to established protocols and safety standards
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process
• Accurately capture diagnostic images and verify image quality before release to radiologists
• Maintain meticulous records of patient history, procedure notes, and imaging results
• Adhere strictly to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA standards
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to support quality medical care
