Cardinal Point Security Group is hiring a professional Security Officer . This is not a warehouse, parking lot, or warm-body post. You will work in a professional environment where your judgment, communication, and reliability are respected.

Position details:

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Location: Flourtown, PA

Schedule:

2:00 PM to 10:00 PM – Wednesday and Thursday

2:00 PM to 12:00 AM – Saturday and Sunday

You will not be sent to a site and expected to figure everything out alone. Our recruiting, training, compliance, scheduling, and operations teams support you throughout onboarding and while you are assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the property
• Drives facility vehicle(s) to pick up employees as needed
• Pleasantly welcomes and screens all guests.
• Issues identification badges to all visitors.
• Direct and/or escort guests to appropriate destination.
• Accepts and retrieves packages.
• Must be in company issued uniform at all times.
• Must be punctual and on time for all shifts.
• Observes and reports unusual or suspicious activity.
• Interacts with guests, staff and residents in a courteous manner.
• Coordinates with other team members to provide a safe and secure environment.
• Promptly answers telephone calls with a polite and courteous manner.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum three years of security experience
• Reliable transportation – location is not accessible via public transportation
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for ten years
• Active cell phone and reliable email access
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check
• Willingness to complete all required clearances and training
• Ability to walk up to 10,000 steps per shift and stand for extended periods
• No disqualifying criminal convictions

Additional Requirements:

• 2-step TB test
• Flu Vaccination

Preferred Experience

• Security or school safety
• Military or military police
• Law enforcement or corrections
• Conflict de-escalation
• Incident report writing
• CPR, First Aid, or AED certification
