Ideal candidates will have significant experience in managing complex cardiovascular cases and be ready to integrate into the unit seamlessly. This role requires strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Assignment Details Facility Type: Acute Shift Details: 12hr Nights, every other weekend Number of Beds: 20, all private and monitored Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 2:1 Start Date: Not provided Assignment Length: Not provided Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $3078 (negotiable) Charting System: EPIC Local Candidate Policy: Not provided Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific color, clean and appropriate appearance required Responsibilities Provide high-acuity care for post open heart surgical patients and other cardiovascular cases Utilize and manage specialized equipment such as IABPs, Impellas, Swan Ganz, and ECMO Interpret cardiac monitoring strips and manage titratable drips Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors in a teamwork-oriented environment Float to various levels of care as necessary Qualifications Required: Active IL RN license or confirmed application initiation Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience BLS certification Proficiency in strip interpretation and critical care skills Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication abilities Ability to work in a high-stress environment Preferred: ACLS and CCRN certifications Experience with post VAD placement and transplant care Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 65723698.
