As an Echo Technologist, you will perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures under the direction of a physician. Your role is crucial in creating technically diagnostic exams for interpretation by cardiologists or radiologists. You will be responsible for:

• Providing technically diagnostic quality exams for physician interpretation in a timely manner
• Assisting cardiologists or appropriate physicians during invasive ultrasound procedures
• Maintaining current NH State License and appropriate credentials
• Performing quality ultrasound exams on patients in assigned areas
• Implementing clinical protocols and policies
• Reviewing order requisitions for pertinent information, special requests, and correct procedures as ordered
• Assisting patient reception staff with patient information as needed
• Completing documentation on patient exams and ensuring appropriate exam charges
• Maintaining medical supplies and required stock items in all rooms
• Preparing and cleaning patient exam rooms
• Preparing all equipment necessary to perform patient exams appropriately
• Communicating effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, families, staff, and physicians
• Possessing the physical and mental abilities to perform tasks associated with this position
• Certification in cardiac ultrasound by the ARDMS or CCI within 12 months of graduation
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Need 1 year experience in setting
