Echo Technologist Nashua, NH Specialty: Echocardiography Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2603 - $3136 | Shift: Days Are you an Echo Technologist looking for your next exciting opportunity? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your skills make a real difference? Join our healthcare partner in Nashua, NH, and be part of a team that values your expertise and dedication. As an Echo Technologist, you will perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures under the direction of a physician. Your role is crucial in creating technically diagnostic exams for interpretation by cardiologists or radiologists. You will be responsible for:
- Providing technically diagnostic quality exams for physician interpretation in a timely manner
- Assisting cardiologists or appropriate physicians during invasive ultrasound procedures
- Maintaining current NH State License and appropriate credentials
- Performing quality ultrasound exams on patients in assigned areas
- Implementing clinical protocols and policies
- Reviewing order requisitions for pertinent information, special requests, and correct procedures as ordered
- Assisting patient reception staff with patient information as needed
- Completing documentation on patient exams and ensuring appropriate exam charges
- Maintaining medical supplies and required stock items in all rooms
- Preparing and cleaning patient exam rooms
- Preparing all equipment necessary to perform patient exams appropriately
- Communicating effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, families, staff, and physicians
- Possessing the physical and mental abilities to perform tasks associated with this position
- Certification in cardiac ultrasound by the ARDMS or CCI within 12 months of graduation
- Basic Life Support certification required
