As a Care Advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, dignity, and well‑being of participants while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. You'll be hands‑on in daily operations—coordinating move‑ins and move‑outs, supporting participants with life skills and resources, overseeing meal services, ensuring facility cleanliness and safety, and conducting wellness checks. This role is essential to helping individuals stabilize, grow, and successfully transition toward independence. Key Responsibilities Support participants in understanding and following program expectations. Conduct rounds and wellness checks to monitor safety and security. De‑escalate conflicts safely and appropriately; engage crisis response as needed. Encourage life skills, job readiness, and financial literacy programs. Connect participants to case management and community resources. Coordinate move‑ins and move‑outs for smooth transitions. Maintain accurate supply inventory and oversee meal services. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 6 months of experience in human services, shelter, or transitional housing (related volunteer experience considered). Valid driver's license with eligibility to drive company vehicles. Must obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card within 8 weeks of hire. TB clearance required at hire and annually thereafter.
