PruittHealth CNA OpportunityAs part of PruittHealth's top initiatives, a new division of Personal Care Services, PH Family First, is being piloted metro Atlanta market. PH Family First is looking to hire a CNA to join a winning team, to assist the patient and caregiver with personal hygiene needs to increase the level of comfort to the patient.Key Responsibilities:Provide optimal comfort care, dignity and privacy for the patientObtain vital signs of patient(s) assignedFollow procedures for handling medical emergencies or other incidents that affect the delivery of servicesReport patient progress and problems to supervisory personnelObserve and report any changes in condition, including skin integrityProvide comfort care, companion, shopping/errands, meal prepping and related tasks, housekeeping, appointment scheduling, medication reminders servicesAssist with patient transfer, ambulation, and exerciseProvide personal hygiene to patient(s), including bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, skin care, dressing, toileting, and hair careMaintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the patientCoordinate care with agency RN SupervisorMaintain accurate and current records of visitsPerform all other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Attend a minimum of 12 hours of annual in-service education and provide documentation to the agencyAttend team meetings and staff development in-services and trainingsCommunicate well with patient and family members. Provide a warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude to families, visitors, and patients. Respond to expressed concerns with a helpful, caring demeanor. Answer questions in a professional mannerRespond to change productively, and handle additional projects as assignedParticipate in agency surveys and any subsequently required reportsAttend and participate in continuing educational programs to keep abreast of changes in the fieldMaintain current license/certification as requiredHonor patient's rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaintsComply with corporate compliance programReport job-related functions/tasks that involve occupational hazards, including exposure to blood and body fluids, as necessaryFollow established safety regulations, including fire protection and prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etcFollow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipmentAbility to use Matrix Care documenting system, after receiving trainingMinimum Education Required:A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent and an active, current, unrestricted CNA certification in the state of practiceMinimum Experience Required:One (1) year of experience working with adults in a healthcare settingMinimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse AideCurrent CPR certificationValid driver's license and automobile liability insuranceFamily Makes Us Stronger.
