Location: Blacksburg, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00, 3 shifts per week with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic Respiratory Therapy team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a progressive healthcare setting. This role includes participating in advanced therapeutic procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to patients.
Monitor and evaluate patients' respiratory status.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Utilize advanced technologies and equipment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
