RN Triage Position

IU Health is seeking expert RN's who will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brightest minds in medicine. At IU Health, you will develop in significant ways, advancing healthcare for all! This RN Triage position is based in a Primary Care office in Avon. The clinic supports Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics and offers a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include nurse visits such as blood pressure and weight checks, medication administration (including B12 injections), patient education, and triage support both by phone and in person. The clinic values a strong, collaborative team culture focused on achieving goals within a supportive and positive work environment. The position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule based on performance.

Schedule: Full time, 8-hour days Monday - Friday. Must be available to work 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. No weekends! No holidays! No Call!

Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction. Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
