Cost Analyst

Cost AnalystLasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Cost Analyst. This role will be hybrid working from either our West Chester, PA headquarters or Franklin, TN manufacturing facility.Key areas of responsibility will include:Teaming:Must be collaborative and work with operational stakeholders and leadersMiscellaneous ad-hoc reporting as requested from all finance leadershipPlant Strategy:Calculate daily CPUs and efficiency reports to help drive improvements in key cost and production areasDevelop weekly trending variance analysis, to see performance versus standardWork with engineering to develop easy-to-read daily plant dashboard, that covers all areas including cost, production, shipping, efficiency, and safetyForecasting and Budgeting:Lead yearly AOP and periodic forecast updates for all labor and overhead expenses in the plant and distribution centersCollaborate with department managers to develop budgets around headcount, supplies, maintenance and morePrepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and general plant performance reports, with comparative view to AOP and forecastsCost Accounting and Reporting:Support yearly Standard Cost Roll for manufactured items across facilities by updating BOMs and routings with alignment to yearly AOPMaintain accurate, fully costed BOMs for all WIP and FG inventory throughout the yearMonth End:Prepare monthly JE's in a timely mannerAnalyze month end results with comparative view to AOP and forecasts and explain variancesPrepare account reconciliations for plant related accrual accountsInventory:Maintain accurate perpetual inventory balances across locations, including plants, warehouses, and any outside warehouse as applicable.Plan, coordinate, and conduct annual physical inventory for relevant facilities.Develop, improve and implement process and controls for:All areas aboveRegular cycle counts in the manufacturing facilityQualifications needed in addition to the topics above:4+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 1 in manufacturingMust have a proactive and solid follow up approachExperience documenting process and controlsStrong MS Office skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsConsumer Products manufacturing (preferred)ERP experience- QAD preferredLasko Products is the leading air solutions brand with a reputation for reliable products, peak performance, and perpetual innovation – our commitment to our customers for over a century.
