Direct Support Professional
KMA Health Services Inc
This case has the following hours:
Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sunday 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
This position requires the ability to assist individuals with teaching skills and offering aid to accomplish their personally set goals for independent living. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living,
- Monitoring for safety,
- Transporting to activities,
- Assisting with basic hygiene,
- Behavior management (training is provided),
- Submit daily progress notes, and
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for the individual and the employee.
- Perform simple nursing care, first-aid, behavior management, personal and hygiene
Requirements:
- A reliable car
- A current driver's license
- A current work authorization
- Current auto insurance
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Current physical exam
- Current tuberculosis test with negative result
- Social Security Card
- Resume
If hired, a background check (FBI) and a Central Registry check will be required.
