Job Description
Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator
Sanmina Corporation in Manchester, NH has an opening for a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator. As a SMT Machine Operator (for electronic assembly), you will tend to the machine by quickly and efficiently loading/replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, and prepping for the next build with the primary goal being to maximize machine productive time.
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Proficient in the setup and operation of SMT equipment (Fuji, Mydata), SMT screen printers, automatic and semi-automatic pick-and-place systems and reflow ovens
- Component Identification knowledge. Feeder sizes and pitches.
- Ability to understand and implement SMT operations per drawings and assembly procedures
- Attention to detail in the preparation for and SMT assembly of complex PCBs
- Good communication skills
Education and Experience :
- Previous experience as an SMT Operator in Electronic Manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of Surface Mount Technology processes and equipment
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- High School or GED
