• 7on/7off - days and nights.
• Opportunity to do procedures such as EVD management.
• Work in tandem with five Inpatient Neurosurgery APPs and six Neurosurgeons.
• Round on patients on the floor and ICU including multidisciplinary rounds and responding to Emergency Department Neurosurgery patients. Work inlcudes Admitting, Consults and Discharges.
• Management of patients includes postoperative spine and intracranial cases as well as TBI and spinal cord injuries. Assist on call neurosurgeon in the management of critical patients and evaluation of time critical patient within 30 minutes.
• The ideal candidate will possess a mature, calm, even-keeled personality, and compassionate bedside manner. Neurosurgery experience including procedures, OR, and trauma is a plus. A self-starter mentality and excellent work ethic along with a positive, flexible attitude are critical.
