CNC Programmer

Job Description CNC Programmer , $25-35.00/hr. – Taylor, MI This company is an established local company serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial Industries. Qualifications: 6+ years experience using MasterCam programming. 4+ years experience as a 5-Axis CNC Programmer. Ability to do gaging, measuring, and probing on CNC Mills. Experience working with Aerospace products is a plus. Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings. Ability to write programs for CNC machines based on company needs. Demonstrated proficiency with GD&T required. Ability to work with Veritcut. In this role, you will generate CNC programs using the latest version of Mastercam, generate cutter paths to efficiently machine a wide array of components – from solid, casting, forging, extrusion, weldments, understand and execute correct process sequence and allowances to yield conforming hardware, verify cutter paths for crashes prior to issuing programs to plant floor utilizing Vericut Verification Software, Maintain CAM files and CNC programs per AS9100D software control and industry standards, and other duties as assigned.
