Position Overview

We invite a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Utilizing the latest advancements in ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures and work alongside a collaborative team of clinicians, bringing reassurance to patients through precise and prompt imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, which include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during each procedure, clearly explaining the process with kindness and respect
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring clinicians to provide top-notch diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any issues as they arise
• Diligently document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic health system
• Stay abreast of innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• High technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
