Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Tempe, Arizona

A retail pharmacy opportunity in the Tempe, AZ area is seeking experienced per diem pharmacists to support multiple locations within a growing client network. This role is ideal for pharmacists looking to work part-time-approximately 2-4 days per week-to provide coverage for call-outs, vacations, or increased volume during peak periods such as graduations, summer, and holidays.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and accurate dispensing of prescription medications at various retail pharmacy locations.
• Support pharmacy operations primarily Monday through Saturday, generally between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., with some sites closing as late as 8 p.m.
• Participate in a mandatory 8-hour training session to become proficient with QS1 pharmacy software and site protocols.
• Administer immunizations as authorized and uphold professional standards, including maintaining BLS certification.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacist-only sites where applicable.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience; preference for candidates with 5+ years for higher compensation.
• Active Arizona pharmacist license with no restrictions.
• Immunization privileges and current BLS certification.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred.
• Ability to commit to flexible per diem scheduling.
