Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary role will be to deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions to couples and families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing holistic treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, while also offering individual support to family members.
\n
• Specializing in addressing complex issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, domestic conflicts, and stress related to medical or job-related challenges.

• Providing counseling for blended families and those navigating separation, divorce, and associated adjustment challenges.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based methodologies and tools to enhance communication and resolve conflicts among family members.
\n
• Maintaining timely documentation of session progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Participating in regular case consultations with your colleagues to ensure cohesive care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your expertise will support families grappling with a multitude of issues, such as emotional distress, conflict resolution, and the integration of mental health care within primary health care practices. Your practice will aim to enhance family dynamics and promote healthier communication patterns.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active LMFT license in the state of New York.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
