Specialized Assembler- Painter

Job Location 260 Banker Road Plattsburgh NY 12901 (On-Site only) Responsibilities Mix and match paint colors to achieve the required shade, consistency, and finish. Troubleshoot any issues related to paint application and make necessary adjustments to equipment or techniques. Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring smoothness, color consistency, and proper adhesion. Paint the exterior of buses to achieve a high-quality finish. Remove and reassemble components of OEM chassis for color changes. Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking. Apply paint using various techniques and equipment. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Assist in the training of junior team members. Maintain and clean painting equipment, tools, and work area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum Requirements: All applicants must have the ability to travel to Drummondville to train for multiple weeks at a time. (ProperDocumentationisrequired, i.e. Passport/EnhancedLicenseto cross US/CA Border) PreferredQualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to mix and match paints to achieve precise color matches. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work independent and as part of a team. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. Ability to work in a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures. Use hands to finger to feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance; reach with hands and arms including overhead; stoop, kneel, crouch. Standing, walking, operating equipment for extended periods. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 30 lbs.).
