DHT is looking for a skilled Diesel Technician who knows their way around Class 8 equipment and takes pride in diagnosing problems and fixing them right.
We're not looking for someone who simply changes parts.
We're looking for a technician who can troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and get equipment safely back on the road.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
DHT operates a diverse fleet of Class 8 trucks and trailers, giving our technicians the opportunity to work across a wide range of systems and repairs.
You'll perform work including:
- Engine and drivetrain diagnosis and repair
- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Air and brake system diagnosis and repair
- Preventive maintenance and inspections
- Trailer repair
- Advanced diagnostics
- Road service and emergency repairs
- Identifying failures and determining appropriate repairs
WE'RE LOOKING FOR A SKILLED TECHNICIAN
You should be comfortable working independently, diagnosing problems, and completing quality repairs without needing someone to walk you through every step.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has hands-on diesel repair experience
- Understands Class 8 truck and trailer systems
- Has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Takes pride in fixing problems correctly
- Works safely and professionally
- Is dependable and ready to work
- Can work independently and as part of a shop team
- Wants to continue developing their technical skills
