Are you professional, energetic, and ready to make a difference every day? South Florida Skin Center is looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping others.
For over 30 years, our family-owned dermatology practice has proudly served the Port Charlotte community, focusing on skin cancer prevention and treatment with warmth, integrity, and advanced care.
As a privately owned, father-son practice without corporate ties, we believe in keeping medicine personal. That means we can focus on what matters most, individualized care, lasting relationships, and real compassion. Our physicians have received multiple teaching awards from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and were also recognized by the community as Best of Charlotte 2025.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the face of our practice, you’ll:
Greet patients with professionalism and empathy
Efficiently manage phones, scheduling, and patient check-in/out
Use medical office software and stay comfortable with technology
Work closely with a supportive clinical team
Ideal Candidate:
Professional, energetic, and able to multitask with ease
Strong desire to help others and be part of a team
Proficient with computers and technology
Punctual, reliable, and consistent
Office experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is available
Eager to grow? We are passionate about learning and support continued education
Compensation & Benefits:
$15-$17.50/hr starting pay , negotiable based on experience
Pay increase after a 60-day probationary period
PTO and health insurance offered after probation
