Visual Merchandising Designer

Job Title: Visual Merchandising Designer I (Part-Time) Position Type: Contract (5+ Months) Location: New York, NY 10001 (Onsite) Salary Rate: $30–32/hr (20 hours/week) Job Description We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Designer to support the execution of retail display projects and in-store visual experiences. This role involves working closely with senior visual staff and cross-functional teams to bring design concepts to life through planograms, renderings, and physical store setups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual merchandising, retail design, and digital design tools, with the ability to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Execute special visual display projects as directed by senior visual staff Create and review planograms for retail layouts and merchandising strategies Participate in proofing processes to ensure accuracy and quality of visual outputs Develop Photoshop and 3D renderings for visual merchandising concepts Collaborate with graphic designers to enhance visual assets and branding consistency Assist in sourcing materials for window displays, in-store, and showroom setups Support installation and execution of retail and showroom visual displays Contribute to overall store design and visual merchandising initiatives Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in visual merchandising Experience with PLV (Point of Sale/Point of Purchase) development in retail environments Diploma or higher in Visual Merchandising or a related field Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and SketchUp Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Background in store design is preferred About Us: Founded in 2009, IntelliPro is a global leader in talent acquisition and HR solutions.
