Some team members prefer shorter weekly trips while others group travel into longer road trips; the focus is on meeting customer and business objectives while maintaining a sustainable schedulePartner with the technical team when conversations involve DOTs, engineering firms, product approvals or more technical product questions. xhyhwjd This role does not need to be the technical expert; strong relationship-building and commercial judgment are more importantWork closely with operations, marketing and other internal partners on forecasting, pricing, service solutions, customer experience and issue resolutionUse Salesforce to document customer activity, track opportunities and build a healthy pipelineStay current on market conditions, supply and demand, competitive activity and customer needs to help shape territory and broader business strategyRepresent the company at relevant industry organizations, trade shows and customer eventsWhat We're Looking For:5+ years of outside sales experienceExperience selling into construction, metals, building materials or a related market, with an understanding of the sales cycle for construction productsRebar fabrication sales experience is highly preferred, but not required. Relevant experience with fabricators, precasters, distributors or adjacent building-materials customers can translate wellA personable, consultative sales style: someone who listens as well as they talk, asks strong questions, and builds relationships customers want to continueAbility to connect comfortably with different audiences, from fabricators and operational contacts to engineering-related stakeholders alongside the technical teamStrong organization, negotiation and business judgment, with the ability to independently manage a broad geography and competing prioritiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as SalesforceA track record that reflects performance and reasonable career stability, along with a genuine interest in growing with the companyBachelor's degree strongly preferredTravel:Approximately 50% travel; schedule is largely self-directed
