Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance Associate with 6+ years of experience to join its Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising financial institutions and other financial services clients on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters, particularly involving banks, money services businesses (MSBs), payment systems, and FinTech companies .
Qualifications:
- minimum 6 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance matters.
- Experience with licensing and chartering of financial institutions and related entities.
- Strong knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations, including:
- Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
- OFAC sanctions compliance
- Third-party risk management
- Consumer financial services compliance
- Experience with regulatory investigations or enforcement matters is a plus.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage sophisticated regulatory matters.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Admission to, or eligibility for admission in, the applicable jurisdiction.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
