RN-Diagnostic Cardiology

Location: Detroit, MI
Shift Hours • 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm


Schedule Notes • Performing cardiac stress tests in Cardio Non-invasive lab • REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years cardiology experience with experience interpreting rhythms, BLS & ACLS certifications, current active MI RN license • Preferred: Experience with cardiac testing • Expect to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift • Cannot guarantee block scheduling but the unit does their best to accommodate requests


Duties • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions


Required Skills & Experience: • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel


Required Education: • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing • Preferred Education: • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) • Required Certification & Licensure: • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing • BLS
