Pharmacy Manager

Position Summary Walmart Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff in providing comprehensive, patient‑centered care to the community. The role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and a commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Process and dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and manage pharmacy programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and appropriate inventory levels. Model and enforce customer service standards, providing direction and guidance to staff to resolve customer needs within company guidelines. Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associate participation as community ambassadors. Maintain compliance with company and legal policies, analyze reports, implement loss‑prevention and safety controls, and conduct safety and quality assurance reviews. Qualifications Proficiency in working effectively with patients and healthcare providers. Expertise in analyzing data to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes. Competence in financial data analysis to inform business decisions. Capability to manage a pharmacy, including staff and operational oversight. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Current state pharmacy license (by job entry date). Completion of an ACPE‑accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association). Preferred Qualifications U.S. pharmacy‑related experience.
