Regional Director of Operations

Position: Regional Director of Operations. The Regional Director of Operations supports, leads and directs the Communities to operational and financial success, with responsibility for resident satisfaction, delivery of resident care and services, occupancy and revenue goals. Responsibilities Manages the organization’s operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies of TerraBella Senior Living. Communicates a clear, resident-focused vision to communities. Reviews annual resident satisfaction survey and develops and deploys programs to ensure and increase resident satisfaction. Manages the Executive Directors of each community and holds them accountable for achievement of community-specific and organization-wide goals. Develops plans to meet NOI expectations with each Executive Director. Ensures budgeted revenue is achieved or exceeded by maximizing occupancy. Develops and executes plans to increase occupancy. Reviews monthly financial statements and implements action plans with Executive Directors for deficiencies. Manages Regional Director of Resident Care and ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines and standards of care. Maintains strong knowledge of competition and remains a visible presence in the communities (spending four days per week at the communities; other work is from the corporate office). Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Oversee and/or manage recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and separations of Community Leaders in accordance with policy. Oversee Community Executive Directors, maintaining full responsibility for efficient operations and compliance with the financial goals within the Region. Oversee and direct Directors of Resident Care. Delegate authority, responsibility and accountability to the responsible leader. Lead the Regional team in support of the organization’s mission and values. Demonstrate teamwork in interactions with Community Team Members and ensure timely resolution of issues; anticipate needs of residents and team members. Promote development of team management skills and sharing of best practices through regional participation and leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
