Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) located in Bridgeport, WV. This position requires managing patients in Phase 1 recovery, dealing with ICU patients if necessary, and utilizing the Epic EMR system. The role involves working in an acute care setting on a busy PACU unit.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU

• Provide high-quality post-anesthetic care in a Phase 1 PACU setting
• Manage and assess ICU patients in PACU if ICU beds are unavailable
• Monitor and interpret EKGs and consult with physicians when necessary
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy for vent, BiPap, and Cpap set-up
• Ensure all patient data is accurately recorded in Epic EMR system

Requirements of the RN - PACU

• Active RN license
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• PACU experience preferred; ICU or ED experience is beneficial
