Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job

Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel temporary assignment in a long-term care setting in Malone, NY. This 6-week opportunity begins on 07/30/2026 with a weekly pay range of $1,667 to $1,737 per week. Shift is evenings, 8-hour shifts, five days per week (5x8 Evenings). The assignment is in a long-term care/nursing home setting. Guaranteed hours are not provided for this role.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including monitoring vital signs, assessing changes in condition, and administering treatments under RN supervision
- Administer medications and document administration accurately; monitor for adverse effects and respond per protocol
- Perform CNA duties as needed, including assistance with activities of daily living and patient mobility
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record; communicate changes to the care team and update care plans as required
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality resident care; respond to call bells and maintain safety and infection control standards
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required to meet unit needs; adhere to facility policies and no block scheduling rules

Requirements
- LPN license on file at time of submission (active)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care (LTC) experience
- Ability to perform CNA duties as needed and work effectively in an LTC setting
- Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not available in this area
- Background checks: a 7-year background check, FACIS 3, and NY State check must be on file at submission
