Dietary Aide
We're looking for a reliable and service-oriented Dietary Aide to assist with meal service, food preparation, and sanitationensuring our patients, staff, and visitors receive nourishing meals in a clean and welcoming environment.
Location: Mercy Hospital A Member of Catholic Health
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect patient meal trays
- Set up tray line stations and follow portion control guidelines
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, desserts, and restock floor refrigerators as needed
- Set up beverage carts and assist with special events as assigned
- Follow diet extensions and food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination
- Clean kitchen areas and sanitize equipment according to policy
- Sort, store, and handle utensils, food, and supplies properly
- Operate dish room station; record dishwasher temperatures
- Ensure work areas are clean and organized before breaks and at the end of the shift
- Adjust to changing assignments and complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Prior food service experience helpful
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and food production equipment preferred
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team

Starting from USD $26.02/Hr.
