Sanitation Technician - Muncie, IN

2301 N Priority Way St, Yorktown, IN 47396, USA Job Description Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 10:00pm Start Purpose The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the general cleaning of the warehouse, offices, restrooms, break rooms and exterior grounds of the Distribution Center. Responsibilities Gather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, paper and damaged product resulting from distribution functions, taking items to designated areas for re-coupe or disposal Track dumped product for proper inventory adjustments and report numbers to the inventory department Sweep, mop and dust warehouse areas including but not limited to break rooms, restrooms, offices and exterior grounds Maintain pest control stations as required by SAL policy Fill out required paperwork for job completion tracking Safely operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks, sit down forklift, floor scrubber, and reach trucks Adhere to company policies, standards and best practices About You Must be 18 years of age High School diploma or equivalent preferred Successful Completion of Powered Industrial Truck Operators Training (PITOT) certification required.
