Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A growing mail order pharmacy is seeking three (3) certified pharmacy technicians to join their team on a contract basis with potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and reliability. This position is located near Cave Creek, AZ, with the work site in Scottsdale, making commute considerations important.
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (commute from Cave Creek ideal)
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks) with possible contract-to-hire
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
- Flexible between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and/or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
- No weekends required
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter new prescriptions, refills, and patient data accurately into the order management system
- Count, dispense, and label medications with precision
- Prepare shipments for mail order, including printing labels, sorting packages by courier, and ensuring on-time shipment in compliance with service level agreements
- Maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment following Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies and procedures
Required Skills and Experience:
- Current Arizona pharmacy technician license and national certification
- Exceptional accuracy and adaptability in a fast-paced mail order setting
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable work ethic
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
- Positive, friendly demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Commitment to continual learning and professional growth
