In this full-time remote position, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological services to individuals suffering from the complexities of work-related injuries. Your primary focus will be on pain management, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance the mental well-being of clients coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain.

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and work-life balance in your professional life. You will be integrated into a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including therapists, physicians, and support staff. Communication will primarily occur through our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, remote meetings, and occasional virtual training sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the needs and goals of adult clients dealing with chronic pain disorders.

  • Provide individual therapy in an outpatient setting, utilizing therapeutic modalities like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
  • \n
  • Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes aimed at enhancing clients' coping skills and understanding of pain management strategies.
  • \n
  • Administer brief therapeutic interventions while evaluating clients' clinical progress in specialized treatment programs such as Functional Restoration Programs (FRP).
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities within our EMR system to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to refer clients to additional therapeutic modalities and support services as needed.

  • Stay informed about the latest research and practices in pain psychology to continuously enhance clinical care delivered to clients.

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse group of individuals who have incurred injuries at work and are exhibiting symptoms related to anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to ensure a solid foundation in clinical practices and methodologies.

  • An active California License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) is essential for providing services legally and ethically.

  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in the mental health field, particularly working with chronic pain management.
  • \n
  • Proven competency in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

  • A commitment to ethical standards and best practices within the realm of social work.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working with populations facing chronic pain and trauma is strongly desired, with an integrated therapeutic approach seen as advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Anchor Therapy, LLC offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
