Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and active Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Floating may be required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license recognized in Ohio required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Proficient IV start skills required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former facility employees are eligible to apply once they have been away from the facility for at least 6 months
• All requested time off (RTO) must be declared upfront and is limited to 7 days or less for the contract duration
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an offer — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
