This role is located in a vibrant community near Schererville, IN, and welcomes both full-time and part-time professionals. Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility in IN)
- SLP-CCC preferred, but CFYs are welcome and will be supported
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is advantageous
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students ranging from preschool through high school
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Contribute to a positive, student-centered atmosphere focused on growth and inclusion
