We are seeking a friendly and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our beautiful Orthodontic practice in Springfield, PA .

We use Damon Braces (self-ligating braces with a sliding mechanism) in our practice and strongly prefer candidates with prior experience working with Damon Braces.

Practice Location : Anthony L. Cook DMD - 135 S State Rd, Springfield, PA 19064 (Springfield Shopping Center)

Schedule :

• Mon, Wed & Thu 8am-6pm
• Tuesday 10am-7:30pm
• Open to part-time options as well for the right fit .

Compensation and Benefits:

• $21–$25/hour
• Health insurance (partially paid by employer), 401k, paid holidays, 3 sick days, vacation time (1- 4 weeks depending on the employment duration)

Prior experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is required for the position.

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will be responsible to:

• Assist the Orthodontist chairside.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Changing wires and brackets.
• Taking and pouring impressions.
• Adjusting retainer fit.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Prepare patients for exams and treatment and provide patient education.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
