- No Non-Compete Clause: Allows full professional flexibility
- Schedule-Based Time Off: No PTO accrual due to the block schedule structure, which provides natural extended time off throughout the month
- Schedule: 7pm to 7am, 7-on/7-off block schedule
- Contract: 14 to 15 shifts per month with opportunities for additional shifts
Responsibilities
- Manage nightly admissions (average 9 to 10 per night)
- Supervise an APC until midnight
- Respond to cross-coverage calls
- Run codes and rapid responses
- No procedures required
Support
- APC handles most floor calls until the end of their shift
- 16-bed semi-closed ICU with pulmonary/critical care support
- Intensivists available 24/7 and return onsite overnight as needed
