Description: Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Location: Corvallis, OR Pay: By The Week, after 40,, Depending on experience Shift Time: Days, Full Time Weekly Hours: 40 Qualifications: Education : Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with a focus on cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology. Certification : Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT equivalent. Licensure : State licensure or certification as required by the state of practice. Experience : Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist is preferred. Technical Skills : Proficiency in operating Cath Lab equipment and relevant software. Familiarity with various Cath Lab procedures and contrast administration. Interpersonal Skills : Strong communication Skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach. Attention to Detail : Ability to produce high-quality angiographic images and maintain accurate records. Key Responsibilities: Cath Lab Procedures : Assist in a variety of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Patient Care : Welcome and prepare patients for Cath lab procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination. Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain Cath lab equipment, including X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and monitoring devices, ensuring proper functioning and performing routine quality control checks. Contrast Administration : Administer contrast media as required for specific procedures, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions. Image Quality : Produce high-quality angiographic images by adjusting equipment settings as needed and ensuring patients are properly positioned.
