Global Transportation Specialist (Weekend)

Job Description Summary As a member of the Global Transportation team, you will be part of an international organization that drives GE Aerospace’s transportation and logistics execution across a complex global supply chain. In this role, you will help ensure material and shipment flow support delivery commitments and customer requirements through disciplined, fast-paced transportation execution.

The role provides critical Friday through Monday coverage and is designed to maintain operational continuity during a key portion of the week when rapid decisions, stakeholder engagement, and strong follow-through are essential.
Success in this role requires the ability to receive handoffs, interpret priorities quickly, structure the day, and drive urgent actions across outbound logistics flows. The role demands strong communication, prioritization, and execution discipline. While there is an expectation to help improve processes over time, the primary need is flawless execution in a demanding operating environment.
Preferred location: Ohio or Kentucky. Candidates located across the Eastern Time Zone may also be considered.
This role provides Friday-Monday coverage for global transportation and logistics operations, with direct responsibility for execution of material movements across a fast-paced global environment.
