Passionate about supporting students' mental health and guiding them toward success? A full-time, onsite opportunity awaits for a dedicated school psychologist to begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year—with the potential for a summer component. This contract position provides an engaging and rewarding environment where your expertise will have a daily, positive impact on students' lives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification/licensure
- Experience delivering psychological services or assessments in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff
- Ability to develop and implement appropriate interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
- Interpret results to help tailor individualized student plans
- Provide direct mental health and counseling services to students, individually or in small groups
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
- Assist with summer programming, providing continuity of care as needed
