Production Associate Day Shift

Production Associate 1 Starting Pay: $17 per hour Shift: 7am Start Responsibilities Operation of various hand tools to manually build window units together Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks Move carts in and out of production work area Operate various types of saws to cut wood necessary to mull units and punch press dies to fabricate Apply hardware to units with appropriate tooling Operate stretch wrapping equipment Utilize production reports to assist in production planning Ensure overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem‑solving activities to resolve issues Observe applicable safety, health and environmental guidelines; wear all required personal protective equipment Participate in cross‑rotation with other operators as needed Support cross‑training initiative by assisting other employees with training as needed Perform all other tasks assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32" Perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; convert fractions to decimals Read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Capable of using computerized equipment Physical Demands Lift 50 pounds routinely; lift above shoulder height and below waist Stand, walk and work on concrete surfaces for long periods Move carts in and out of production areas Eligibility Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
