Position Title:Head Custodian
Location: Elementary School
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Buildings and Grounds
Days per year: 261 days - 12 month, year round position
Hours per day: 8
Schedule: M-F 6-2:30
ISD 876 offers a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week (130 hours per month average over a 9 month period). Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Buildings & Grounds, the Head Custodian is responsible for the overall management of daily operations of the assigned school building. The Head Custodian is responsible for general cleaning, supervising building custodians, heating and cooling systems, maintenance and repair of the building and other aspects that provide for the safety, health and comfort of students, staff and the public within and around the building.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2nd Class C Boiler License; Or working towards 2nd Class C Boilers License
- All qualifications listed on attached job description
