Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.

Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.

• Utilizes the nursing process for planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care
• Performs documentation in patient records that is timely, accurate, and concise
• Identifies patient/family learning needs and implements appropriate measures to meet needs
• Performs efficiently in emergency situations, following established protocols, appropriate communication and documentation
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth by taking advantage of the available opportunities
• Delegates and oversees other members of the healthcare team when directing and coordinating patient care activities. Reports regularly to RN for guidance and direction

Job Requirements

Required

• Two years experience in acute care at job level or
• Two years home health experience
• Licensed Vocational Nurse: CA
• Basic Life Support - BLS through an American Heart Association provider
• Driver's License: CA
• Auto Insurance
