Bakery Prep Supervisor (Full-Time)

Join our family-owned bakery as a Bakery Prep Supervisor, where you’ll lead a small team while keeping daily prep, sanitation, and production support running smoothly. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, staying organized, and supporting a team to meet high‑quality food and safety standards. If you enjoy hands‑on work, teamwork, and making life a little sweeter every day, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do: Lead, train, and supervise 5‑7 prep and cleaning team members. Assign daily tasks, create schedules, and support team performance. Support the morning production team, as needed, to complete daily production of baked goods. Ensure proper handling, organization, and storage of baked goods. Manage inventory and product rotation to support production. Maintain food safety and quality control standards. Assist with prep and dishwasher duties as needed. Coordinate next‑day production and communicate with other departments. What We’re Looking For: High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience Hands‑on leader with 1‑3 years of bakery, food prep, or kitchen experience (preferred) Comfortable supervising a team and creating daily task lists Must be 18+ with reliable transportation Organized, detail‑oriented, and safety‑conscious, with strong time management skills Physically able to be on your feet all day, lift 50 lbs., push/pull up to 350 pounds, and work in hot/cold environments Schedule: Full‑time; 40 hours per week Tuesday–Saturday; 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. No late nights; closed on Sundays and major holidays Must be available to work during busy holiday seasons $15-$16.50/hour, based on experience Opportunities to grow and cross‑train Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan Employee Assistance Program Bakery discounts Bethel Bakery is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
