POSITION: MACHINE OPERATORS
Pay Rate: $20.0-21.000/hour
Current Need: 2 associates per shift
Steel Services is seeking dependable, mechanically inclined MACHINE OPERATORS to work in an industrial environment. Candidates should have previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, production, or other hands-on experience and demonstrate stability and longevity with previous employers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Recruiters should prioritize candidates who:
- Have previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, production, or mechanical experience
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable working with equipment and tools
- Have demonstrated job longevity and stability with previous employers
- Have a strong work history and dependable attendance
- Are comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Can independently lift up to 50 pounds
- Are comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Can work in a loud industrial environment
- Have reliable transportation and are able to consistently report to work on time
- Have their own steel-toe shoes
SHIFT INFORMATION
Steel Services currently has three shifts available:
Shift
Hours
1st Shift
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Swing Shift
6:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Current staffing need: 2 associates per shift.
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Recruiters must discuss the work environment with every candidate before submitting them.
Candidates must understand that this position requires:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
- Working in a non-climate-controlled facility
- Working in a loud industrial environment
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Standing, walking, and performing physical/material-handling duties throughout the shift
