School Nurse Position

Step into an impactful role supporting students health and wellness in a contract position, providing nursing care across elementary schools in the vibrant Bay Area. We are seeking a skilled RN with a BSN and a Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential to join a dedicated educational community for the upcoming school year. This part-time opportunity offers a set schedule of two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 hours per week), with services split between two campuses serving elementary-age students.

Your expertise will ensure students access to learning and provide a safety net for their ongoing health needs. Be a resource for staff, families, and community partners, and make a tangible difference where it matters most.

What We're Looking For:

• Current CA licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with BSN
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential (required)
• Recent experience in pediatric, community, or school nursing preferred
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to develop health care plans and collaborate with education teams
• Commitment to promoting student well-being and safety
• Prepared to comply with fingerprinting/background check requirements

Role Expectations:

• Deliver comprehensive health services and first aid as needed
• Serve as a consultant for staff and families regarding health matters
• Develop, implement, and monitor individual health care plans for students
• Conduct mandated screenings and assessments
• Support emergency preparedness and communicable disease management
• Coordinate between families, healthcare providers, and school staff

Contract Details:

• Start August 19th; ends June 10th
• Two assigned schoolsone day per week at each campus
