Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore or improve functional abilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions targeting activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and cognitive function
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Texas
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a SNF or post-acute care setting
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare guidelines
