Our firm is currently seeking a remote, full-time attorney, licensed in the state of California, to provide representation and limited‑scope legal assistance to consumer clients involved in debt collection lawsuits. Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar At least 5 years of prior civil litigation experience Experience in high‑volume consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred Key Accountabilities Represent and defend clients in collection cases initiated by original creditors or debt buyers and, for clients who engage the firm in a narrower capacity, provide limited‑scope legal assistance, including reviewing and editing pro se answer drafts prepared by the firm’s paralegals. This position will rarely require complex litigation and/or attendance at final hearings, as clients are enrolled in a debt resolution program, and typically desire to settle through voluntary payment arrangements with the creditors.
