Production Technician I/II/III - Days

AstraZeneca's Frederick Manufacturing Center seeks Production Technicians to operate downstream processing equipment in biologic manufacturing. This 12-hour rotating day shift role involves equipment operation, solution preparation, cGMP documentation, and continuous improvement activities in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate downstream processing equipment per SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs in cGMP compliance
- Perform solution preparation, purification, formulation, and supporting production activities
- Execute cGMP documentation and utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Train under qualified technicians on equipment operation and seek qualification
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives on production floor
Requirements
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree depending on level and experience
- 0–3 years production or bioprocessing experience based on technician level
- Proficiency with computer systems and manufacturing execution systems
- Ability to comply with cGMP standards and follow written procedures
- Prior aseptic and bioprocessing equipment experience for Tech II/III roles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal oversight for Tech III
Compensation: $56,072–$84,108 annually
